ACKNOWLEDGMENTS TO FOOD BANK BELGRADE

 

December 2008 - Food Bank received the Acknowledgment of the City Centre for Social Welfare in Belgrade for care and help given to the poor fellow citizens.

 

 

September 2008 -At exhibition called Partnership for Success in the Airport City business centre, organised in order for the business sector to get in touch with the civil community and their projects and initiatives and create conditions for cooperation and future partnerships, the companies that took part decided by voting to award the Belgrade Food Bank.

 

 

 

 

June 2008 - The Belgrade Food Bank received the 2^nd prize of the Places in Heart Foundation for the most magnanimous project among 40 other NGOs.

 

 

 

 

February 2009

 

During the ceremony which was devoted to the monograph  « Greetings from Belgrade 1895-1941» promotion, authored by Snezana and Dragana Vicic, City municipality Savski Venac presented on February 20th, awards to organizations and individuals who were taking part in the humanitarian and cultural activities in recent years. This valuable book was, among others, given to FOOD BANK Belgrade, as a special award for helping and supporting activities in the Savski Venac Municipality – complementing the monthly food packages for 108 beneficiaries of Soup kitchen in this Municipality.
