Donation of UNHCR and SOKO ŠTARK

In joint action with TV B92 „FOOD FOR ALL”, FB took over, on April 29th, 2009,.the UNHCR donation of 5,3 tons of sardine, bean and meat cans. Part of this donation, 775 kg, was donated to the beneficiaries of the Centers for Social welfare of Palilula, Vozdovac and Novi Beograd municipalities. FB has also donated 950kg of this donation to 300 members of Roma’s Aassociation „Mala vatra” from Ruma and 2 tons to 139 displaced Roma families in Novi Sad, through Red cross Novi Sad as well as to 103 families in Belgrade (Cukarica and Zemun) through Commissionary for the displaced. The company SOKO ŠTARK, member of DROGA KOLINSKA Group, has joined this action by providing 2 tons of its sweet products. Part of this donation, 900 kg was donated to Roma association from Ruma and 750kg will be distributed to the Centers for Social welfare of Palilula, Vozdovac and Novi Beograd municipalities. Thank to the financial support of Societe Generale Srbija, the transport of the donated food items was ensured. On the 3rd of June, the FB delivered 270kg of products donated by UNHCR and SOKO ŠTARK AD, members of the group ‘Droga Kolinska”, to 30 members of the regional organisation for the deaf and hard of hearing in Smederevska Palanka.
