Campaign with the NATIONAL BANK of Serbia

In collaboration with the National Bank of Serbia, and on their initiative, on the 12th June 2008 Food Bank organised a campaign, collecting groceries for 25 socially disadvantaged families (76 children) in the areas of Vozdovac and Palilula. Thanks to the solidarity of the employees, we collected 375 kg of essential groceries (oil, sugar, flour, rice, beans, tinned tuna, meat paste and sardines, biscuits, jam, puddings, snacks etc.) for disadvantaged citizens. On average, every household will receive around 15kg of donated groceries in a one-off transaction. After this first successful joint campaign we believe this to be the beginning of further collaboration, which will continue alongside the following activities.
