Long-term Collaboration Agreement between Food Bank and DELTA MAXI

During the middle of February, Food Bank has received donations from the company DELTA MAXI - 750 kg basic daily groceries (oil, sugar, rice, beans, tuna, sardines, biscuits, apples etc.) and has taken them to the Centres for Social Work in the Palilula and Vozdovac municipalities. Donations are intended to be given to 27 socially disadvantaged families (116 members - 66 children), from the mentioned areas.

On the 19th February, Food Bank signed a contract regarding collaboration with the company DELTA MAXI, on the basis of which, this company with donate every month, 300 kg of basic daily groceries, totalling 3.6 tonnes of food in 2008, for the most disadvantaged citizens.

Hence, from the beginning of March, donations of 300kg of basic daily groceries, Food Bank will travel to the Centre for Social Work in Uzice, the intended recipients being the Safe Houses and displaced people from two camps in Uzice.
