The donation of the MICRONET school for socially imperiled families from the Palilula community

• According to the statistics, every tenth among our co-citizens lives very poorly, i.e. under the poverty edge. This can be any person around us - a friend, an acquaintee, a neighbor. This is why Micronet, the school for foreign languages, for computers and contemporary business has decided to face the problem of poverty.

• In cooperation with The Food Bank, this school will help a few the most imperiled households from the territory of Palilula municipality, where this school is based, through buying basic victuals each month.

By the end of May, the first donation from Micronet school, 165 kg of aliments, was received by five households in Kotez, Krnjaca and Slanci.

Ljubomir Stavrić, the director of the Micronet school has stated at the occasion that "this donation means the beginning of the regular assistance to the neighbors the most in need".

The regular delivery of aid was continued in June. The last week of this month, in agreement with the City Center for Social work in the Palilula municipality, a single mother with three children and two more households from this municipality have received packages with basic victuals (total 100 kg) which were provided by the Micronet school.

MICRONET school and The FOOD BANK consider a possibility for delivering aid also to the families who live at the territories of the other municipalities, during the future period.
